I absolutely love the apartment I’m staying in. I’m a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State and this is the second time I’ve stayed at the Residences on the Avenue through Churchill Living. Both times, in 2017 and now, I was working at the US Embassy in Venezuela and was evacuated back to DC due to violence and political turmoil.
I initially found [Churchill] online in 2017 and loved it so much that I recommended it to all the other evacuees from Caracas. One by one they all moved from their hotels over to the Residences on the Avenue. This time around, in 2019, I recommended you all to my colleagues again and there was a mad dash for everyone to get into this building.
I can’t thank you all enough for being so easy to work with, flexible, accommodating, and just providing incredible service. When we are evacuated from a country we leave behind all our belongings and have no idea if/when we’ll be able to go back. To have an amazing fully-furnished apartment with all the amenities right down the street from the Department of State makes our transition to DC so much less stressful than it otherwise would be. You guys make us feel immediately at home, so thank you!
